Hotel to Airport Transfers: The Route Your Driver Already Knows

Every major Chicago hotel has a different pickup protocol — different entrances, different valet situations, different timing requirements. After thousands of hotel pickups, our drivers know every property. Here is a guide to the major hotel areas and what your airport car service experience looks like from each.

The Loop Hotels

Palmer House Hilton: Pickup at the Monroe Street entrance. Valet traffic is heavy during checkout hours (10-11 AM). Allow an extra 5 minutes. Distance to O’Hare: 18 miles, 30-50 minutes.

The Langham: Wacker Drive entrance. One of the easiest downtown pickups — wide pull-in area, valet is efficient. Distance to O’Hare: 17 miles, 30-45 minutes.

JW Marriott: Adams Street entrance. Morning traffic on Adams is moderate. Our drivers use the right lane staging area. 18 miles to O’Hare.

Hyatt Regency: Wacker Drive entrance, east tower. This is one of the highest-volume hotels in Chicago. Pickup during convention checkout can be chaotic — we text you exactly where the vehicle is staged.

Magnificent Mile Hotels

The Drake: East Walton entrance. Classic Chicago hotel with a tight turnaround area. Our drivers know to stage on the east side of Michigan Avenue. 17 miles to O’Hare.

Four Seasons: Delaware Place entrance. Valet is efficient here — pull in, they bring your bags, 2-minute departure. 16.5 miles to O’Hare.

The Peninsula: Superior Street entrance. The valet here is the most organized in Chicago. Your car is pulled around before you finish checking out.

Intercontinental: Michigan Avenue entrance. Double-check which entrance — the hotel has both a Michigan Avenue and an Illinois Street entrance. We default to Michigan unless told otherwise.

River North Hotels

The Westin: Dearborn Street entrance. Easy loop around for pickup, moderate valet traffic.

Holiday Inn Mart Plaza: Orleans Street. Quick highway access to I-90/94 from here — one of the fastest routes to O’Hare from any downtown hotel.

O’Hare Airport Hotels

Hilton O’Hare: Inside the airport complex. Pickup at the main entrance, but navigation into the hotel loop can be confusing. Our drivers do this multiple times per day.

Hyatt Regency O’Hare: River Road entrance. 5-minute drive to any terminal. Most common use: early morning flight after a late arrival the night before.
